ILGE places a primary emphasis in its programs on delivering results. The goal is to ensure that attendees will experience significant improvements in knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of attending our programs. Programs are thus carefully structured and uniquely packaged to deliver stimulating content as well as results. In addition to including the most recent models, theories, best practices, and research, ILGE uses a special methodology that has proven to be successful throughout the world. Before the start of each program, attendees are benchmarked on the current levels of knowledge, skills and competencies to be covered. They are then re-assessed after the program to evaluate the percentage gains in knowledge, skills, and competencies on topics covered.
This can be best illustrated through the diagram below which provides data gathered for results impacting knowledge, skills and competencies from beginning to end of one of our flagship programs. After identifying and creating a program around the areas the client requested its executives be trained in, a benchmark was established for each individual as well as a normative base-line for the group as a whole. A re-assessment at the conclusion of this multi-part program indicates that percentage gains averaged 45% with highest gains in knowledge, skills/competencies of the “translating strategy into realistic and manageable plans area” which averaged 54%. This was most encouraging for the impact of this program will be eventually measured by the degree that participants will integrate concepts and skills learned back into their jobs. Another high level of gain was in the “developing a shared vision” area at 50% average gain. This is very critical in that participants in the program can only be successful if they can bring a vision for change back to their staffs that is convincing and motivational.
ILGE takes such data and subsequently evaluates the degree of success for each program in delivering results. Both program content and methodology are subsequently refined with continuous improvements in program quality and ability to deliver results. Data is also useful in helping evaluate individuals with respect to areas of improvement as well as where additional coaching and counseling might prove helpful.
