The ILGE Foundation is a not-for-profit organization affiliated with the Institute for Leadership and Global Education (ILGE). It provides support for enhancing the quality of life for humanity through diverse projects, initiatives and organizations worldwide. The Foundation was established in 2006 to meet a growing need for programs and services to help government, education, health care, business, and non-profit organizations in:

•Providing access to quality Executive Education Programs at the Post-Graduate levels to foster
   development of the leadership knowledge, skills, and competencies for those in leadership positions who ordinarily would not be able to attend them. These programs would be provided at international, national, community, and local levels.
•Supporting executives, managers, and staff in diverse organizations to enable them to create a more humane work environment as well as a productive and performance-driven organizations.
•Providing guidance and support of strategic initiatives that improve the quality of life and entrepreneurial talents of people via development of new structures and processes that maximize use of resources.
•Conducting research projects to develop new knowledge and disseminate such knowledge to others.
•Providing strategic level support to charities and non-profit organizations that focus on specialized areas improving humanity’s conditions at a qualitative level.
•Collaborating with organizations that focus on reducing violence, conflict, destructive behaviors, and toxic environments antithetical to human development and achievement.

Purpose: The ILGE Foundation was set up specifically to provide support for enhancing the quality of life for humanity through diverse projects, initiatives and organizations worldwide.

Why?: Current organizations focused on aiding human needs are struggling with respect to helping humanity achieve significant, qualitatively improved conditions. Such organizations often are weak in the leadership area and lack the necessary 21st century knowledge, skills, and competencies required to deliver on their missions. Some not-for-profit and charitable organizations often have major gaps with respect to having adequate funding and staffing, while others have become large bureaucracies with structures and processes that prevent a more strategic-level approach to problems at hand. In most cases there are gaps with respect to applying best knowledge and practice to solve complex problems involving social, cultural, and psychological dimensions needing to be addressed for long-term solutions. Many such organizations struggle with respect to effective operational implementation strategies that properly align strategy, operational structures, and human talent.

Ethos: An ethically-based private sector organization, the ILGE Foundation is run under the auspices of an independent Ethical Advisory Committee which monitors all of the Foundation's activities to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
 

Clients & Services: The Foundation's not-for-profit services are offered to organizations involved in education, government, health care, as well as businesses serving needs of diverse groups, and not-for-profit organizations at local, national, and international levels.

Expertise: The Foundation draws on the 20 years of collective experience of the Institute for Leadership and Global Education (ILGE) and its diverse partners at global level.
