Overview
ILGE’s  Research Division conducts traditional and eclectic research studies, presents case studies, and publishes findings and results through articles, papers, and special reports. ILGE emphasizes an interdisciplinary and applied approach to its research studies. It fosters studies that take into consideration international, ethical, and leadership dimensions of topics pursued. Studies in the past have focused on diverse topics such leadership, performance enhancement, team building, work stress, identity as a manager, management ethics, whistle-blowing, human resource management, organization development, strategic management, organizational culture, training and development, health and wellness, employee responsibilities and rights, educational leadership, and terrorism.

We have a special alliance with the  “The International Journal for Responsible Employment Practices & Principles(IJREPP)” www.cerrnet.org and www.aeep.net  ,  which is the internationally recognized premier Journal focused on publishing the best research and papers on employee responsibilities and rights issues. 


SPECIAL PROJECT - International Study of Executive Leadership

Background:
The International Study of Executive Leadership Project is funded by the ILGE Foundation -  the non-profit arm of The Institute for Leadership and Global Education (ILGE). As an international and interdisciplinary, non-denominational post-graduate level institution of higher education,  ILGE has over 20 years of experience in research that focuses on  transforming mind-sets and organizations to 21st century peak performance levels. One of our core missions is to conduct internationally-based research and provide helpful new knowledge and understandings to aide in the successful development of current and new leaders across diverse organizations in countries across the globe.  ILGE is donating it’s time, resources, and expertise to conduct the study, but is actively seeking sponsors to help support this project.

Goals:
The goals of this study are to provide an “inside view” of the “reality”, “challenges,” “perspectives”, “special circumstances”, and “experiences and knowledge” of  those holding significant executive-level leadership positions in varied business, government, non-profit, educational, and other institutions.   The results of this study will lead to new guidelines, recommendations, and development of new support vehicles for enhancement of the success of current and future executive leaders and their organizations.

When:
The study is taking place between 2006 to present.

Results of the Study:
Results of the study will be published in various outlets including academic journals, practitioner journals, conferences, and newsletters.

Participants in the Study:
Participants in the study will be selected senior-level executives holding positions such as President, Senior Vice President, CEO, Director General, Minister, Executive Director  and similar positions from diverse private sector, public sector, non-profit, educational institutions, and non-profit organization.
